Aviation Asset Tracker - Ground Support Equipment
The Aviation Asset Tracker utilises GPS scanning through GNSS (GPS/BeiDou satellites) and Wi-Fi AP MAC address scanning, with cell tower fallback.
This tracker is designed for both indoor and outdoor use and remains functional in areas with weak GPS signal coverage by employing Wi-Fi access point scanning failover to determine location.
Our trackers do not require passwords to connect to Wi-Fi access points. The technology allows you to scan all available SSIDs in the vicinity and intelligently uses geo-based lookup databases to pinpoint location even when GPS satellite coverage is unavailable. These trackers offer a high level of location accuracy to within 50m.

The low-cost, battery-powered IP68 weatherproof tracker can be easily mounted and concealed in small compartments. Its impressive battery life, depending on usage and movement frequency, is up to 5 to 8 years.
This product is ideal for anyone looking for a device that allows easy movement between non-powered assets. It requires no plug-in installation or additional cables.
The tracker can be installed on assets that need constant GPS tracking, whether they are in motion or stationary.
All our trackers utilise the Telstra LTE-M network to ensure the best coverage. You can be confident that your data is secure, as GPS locations are stored in Australia on our encrypted network.

Web and App Tracking
Up-to-date information on your assets is available in our web-based dashboard or via the Byron Aviation app, which allows you to view your asset locations on the go. The app is available for both iPhone and Android.
We offer our customers full customisation of assets, including individual tracking times for each asset and geofencing. If you require any additional support, you can contact our team at any time. We’re here to support you throughout the life of your equipment and tracking requirements.
If in the case of an emergency with any of your assets, we offer a ‘Recover/Lost mode’ on specific assets. This setting will ping a location every 30 seconds until the asset is located.
